Gary Hogg, ID Digital Media General Manager, is moving on after 3 years involvement, to revive his previous business Hexamon Communications and establish it as an online digital strategy and placement agency still based in Christchurch.

 

“I’ve had an exciting and rewarding time with ID Digital, helping build the site portfolio into NZ’s largest independent online publisher and advertising network and a recognised online brand. The time is right, to take advantage of the opportunities that exist in the online market with the shift of advertising spend into the digital area.

Hexamon will have a national focus but will also fill a gap in the South Island advertising market for a specialised online agency that assist clients in moving into the digital space. The South Island has been slow to pick up the digital and online ball at both agency and direct level and as a consequence is missing opportunities to move clients online.“

 

Recent IAB (Internet Advertising Bureau) research confirms that online advertising continues to grow against other traditional media.
